Membership fees
The membership fee is payable annually on the 1st April each year. Members joining part-way through the membership year pay an amount proportionate to the months remaining. Normally they will be asked to take out a monthly standing order with the option of changing to a lump-sum payment at the start of the next membership year. The club does not charge a joining fee.

Trial flight fees
A months temporary membership will cost you £75 This allows you to fly as a member of the club for three months and includes your first flight. Any additional flying is charged at £45 per aerotow (up to 30 minutes) and £15 per winch launch (up to 10 minutes).Top of the page
Air Experience Evenings
During the summer months we run Air Experience evenings to allow a group of people (up to 15) to come along and have a trial flight. These evenings cost £30 (£15 for groups of under 18's e.g. Scouts and schools) and include a months membership of the club and a flight. Additional flights are £15 (for up to 10 minutes) each. Gift Vouchers
Included in the cost of the gift voucher is:- Three months membership, starting from the date of the flight.
- Pre-flight briefing, explaining the controls and instruments.
- One flight, normally launched by aerotow to 2000 feet.
You will be flown by one of our many British Gliding Association qualified instructors.
During the flight you will be instructed on the use of the controls and, if you want, you can have a go yourself. The voucher is valid for one year from the date of purchase. The cost of a gift voucher is £70. This will provide a trial flight normally by aerotow to 2000' + 3 months membership of the club giving the recipient the ability to fly at the following rates:
- Aerotow launch £45 (up to 30 minutes flying time)
- Winch launch £15 (up to 10 minutes flying time)
Where the club is unable to carry out aerotow launches on any particular date then the voucher holder will be offered the alternative of winch launch (in this case a 2nd flight will be offered where the 1st flight is less than 10 minutes duration)
